Aims & objectives

The aim of Happy Ever After is that the participants explore what young people´s wellbeing is built on and develop methods to support it.

The objectives are:

-to explore what happiness can exist of and how to reach it.

-to build trust in the group and share personal life challenges.

-to discover how the elements of the society impact on young people´s mental health.

-to develop method concepts in youth work to support young people´s wellbeing.

-to plan how the concepts could be implemented in the sending organisations.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The target group is 20 youth workers from Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Hungary, Turkey, Denmark and Norway.
The team members are 3 trainers from Estonia, Hungary and Ukraine, plus 1 coordinator form Estonia and 2 from Georgia.

Training methods used & main activities

As methods, we used the concept of storytelling, supported by numerous methods of self-reflection, increasing self-esteem, group work, team building, and discussion of concept of Happiness, Wellbeing and Love in youth work.

Outcomes of the activity

Participants tried out, developed and/or reshaped tools on encreasing happines in their youth work. In 21-day period they remesuared level of happiness and eveluated outcomes of the seminar.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Developing program and outlines of the seminar, selection Ukrainian participants, holding sessions about defining happiness, sharing best practices, self-reflection toolbox, project planning, reflection and evaluation.

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
