Aims & objectives

- Promote European south and north cooperation;
- Develop a sustainable network among organizations in the youth field and sport;
- Stimulate capacity building, entrepreneurial thinking, engagement through Sport for young people;
- Reflect and exchange opinions/researches about entrepreneurial education through Sport in different European and Mediterranean countries;
- Share examples of good practices combating youth exclusion through sport.
- Sport and Non Formal Education (NFE) as a driving force for development of leadership, problem-solving, creativity and flexibility for the young - in a way to foster social integration.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

1. Coordinator of the project ‘GOALS’ is The Municipality of Tempio Pausania, that has been active for several years in the framework of European projects;
2. Klub Sportwy Beniaminek, Starogard Gdanski, Poland. as a sports club they are more dedicated into the usage of sports to raise awareness about other sectors in life such as inclusion and entrepreneurship.
3. Bulgarian Sports Development Association (BSDA) was founded in 2010 and is a nonprofit public benefit organization devoted to the development of Bulgarian sport and improving sporting culture in Bulgaria!

TARGET GROUPS
- Local communities, including disadvantaged youngsters, in project venue was benefited from direct contact with participants from different countries as well as with project activities.
- To favor this dynamic, partners are considering the possibility of making some of the workshops open to the general public.
- Disadvantaged youngsters (NEETs, youngsters from marginalized rural areas) in participants’ countries of origin benefited by the implementation of follow-up activities by participants and partner organizations. Follow-up by partners is expected to foster development and youth engagement in local communities by determining an increase in grassroots youth community engagement initiatives within and outside of the field of Sport.

Training methods used & main activities

Team bonding & work, Formal, Non-formal & Informal education, Conflict Management and debates, Sport Activities and body movements, Entrepreneurial brain storming and Idea generation, Business model canvas & creation of business model presentations, SWOT analysis of ideas & business plans, Social media Campaign, Out-Reach for customers and opinions, Guide Book Creation.

Methods of NFE under the guidance of Trainers and Facilitators:
- Ice breaker games;
- Energizers;
- Team building;
- Role-play;
- Salto-Youth and Compass tools;
- Simulations; Study Visits;
- Constructing ideas and presenting;
- Outdoor activities;
- Sharing best practices in an interactive way;
- round tables and discussions; etc. Methods;
- Presentations and practical workshops by the leaders of the project and partner organizations;
- All partner organizations agreed that the Methodology for the project will be continuously Non-Formal Education.

Trainers and Facilitators emphasized that each participant has a time and place to express their own opinion, and encouraging more passive participants to take interactive part in the activities and discussions.
Mutual agreement between the moderators/trainers/facilitators and the participants and setting some basic rules were placed at the beginning of training, which help to facilitate the whole process.
Time for intercultural dialogue and understanding of foreign cultures, the participants had in their spare time and in intercultural evening.

Outcomes of the activity

- TC “Sport is our inner strength”.
Participants: 15 youth workers/leaders involved in Non Formal Education through Sport of young people. TC activities were based on Non Formal Education tools for conveying entrepreneurial practices and social inclusion (team-work, fair competition, self-esteem, self-reliance, flexibility and creativity) to young people through Sport activities. The activity took place in Tempio Pausania (Italy).

OBJECTIVES:
-Training participants to employ useful instruments and knowledge to promote youth inclusion through Sport;
-Developing innovative activities that are cultivating entrepreneurial spirit and skills through sport;
-Fostering participants' understanding about the role of Sport in promoting personal development of youngsters in an entrepreneurial perspective;
-Increasing topic understanding and operational capacities of partner organizations through internal and external dissemination by participants;
- Development of leadership, problem-solving, creativity and flexibility for the young - in a way to foster social integration.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

My Personal Tasks were taking care of the activities and management of the flow of the sessions and delivering the knowledge and facilitate the activities about.
- ICE Breakers and Team Buildings;
- What is NFE, FE, IF;
- Business model canvas;
- Debating and conflict management;
- Erasmus Plus presentation and potential project ideas facilitation;
- Guidebook Creation.

All this were my responsibilities to make sure they understood the concepts and manage to transform the tips and theories into practice to share among themselves and get an outcome.

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
