Aims & objectives

The course was planned to answer the need for easily adaptable tools to work with youngsters in nature which would support their well-being and their deeper self-reflection.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

22 youth workers and youth leaders from: Spain, Poland, France, Bulgaria, Romania, Czech Republic, Portugal, Cyprus, and Latvia.

Training methods used & main activities

Empathy based communication; art, nature and body work; mindfulness. All those educational tools were combined with dynamics of environmental education in nature, and through experiential methodologies, teamwork, and deeper reflection.

Outcomes of the activity

As a result of the course participants took away easy and ready to use short practices to lead with their groups.

Trainer - responsible for the program planning, implemenation, and evaluation.

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
