Aims & objectives

This conference's main aim was group organization and activism. Showing the participants from different associations how to create and develop an action strategy.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The number of participants was around 25 during the whole training and they were between 16 and 35 year old, from different North and South American countries and from different education and working fields.

Training methods used & main activities

Non formal education was used in the form of round tables and all active workshops.

Outcomes of the activity

A booklet of results was created, plus action groups had follow up during the following months in their local activities.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

My role was:

One of the two trainers
I gave lectures on leadership, partnership building, group coordination and action planning.
Mentor for first phase of follow up activities of the participants

I worked on this training for 4 days as a full time trainer.
