GROW 2020 - personal development!

Aims & objectives

“GROW 2020” is an international training course for youth workers and multipliers in youth work,
to raise their competences in coaching and empowering youth. A focus will be put on personal and professional development, as well as employability and entrepreneurship. All tools and competences will be practiced by trying them out on yourselves. As another important concern is the sustainability and multiplication of the learning points, as well as the dissemination of outcomes of the training course, a big emphasis will also be put on developing future development plans and follow-up projects.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

24 participants from 11 different countries from EU and EECA. Team = 3 trainers (AT, HU, CZ) + 2 support (CZ + AR)

Training methods used & main activities

The whole toolbox of non-formal education, and here with an emphasis on simulations, coaching, drama methods, feedback and self-reflection.

Outcomes of the activity

- raised competences of the participants in the area of the training course
- personal and professional development plans of the participants
- follow-up plans on level of organisations
