Aims & objectives

The aim of the "GreenFit"project is to promote a healthy lifestyle in harmony with natureby educating young people about the connection between physical activity, conscious nutrition, and sustainable habits that benefit both their well-being and the environment.
Increase awarenessof the link between physical and mental health and the
environment.
Objective:
Encourage physical activitythrough outdoor sports, eco-friendly workouts,and relaxation techniques.
Develop sustainable habits, such as zero waste, mindful consumption, and plastic reduction.
Support mental well-beingthrough contact with nature, mindfulness, and digital detox.
Foster international collaborationand exchange of best practices on healthy living and sustainability.

Training methods used & main activities

Nonformal education methods, inside and outside, using :WORKSHOP, OPEN SPACE, INTERCULTURAL EVENING, REFLECTION

Outcomes of the activity

Young people improved their understanding of how movement, nutrition and daily choices affect their wellbeing.
They practiced simple routines that they can use at home, such as short exercises and easy healthy meals.
They learned how their lifestyle connects with the environment and how small actions reduce waste and pollution.
They built confidence by working in teams and supporting each other during tasks.
They became more active in their community by sharing what they learned with friends and younger children.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I designed and guided the learning process. I prepared clear session plans and adapted them to the needs of the group. I explained tasks, gave instructions and kept the flow simple and easy to follow. I supported participants during activities and helped them reflect on what they learned. I coordinated with the team to divide roles, manage time and keep the group involved. I created a safe space for sharing and made sure every young person could participate, no matter their background or confidence level.

I worked on this training for 8 days as a full time trainer.
