TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

The activity I implemented was an open space for personal development combined with a one-on-one mentorship for all the volunteers taking part in The Green Summit event of the Green Association. It was done according to the main goal of the organization - to present and support sustainable models of social interaction among young people from Europe.
The target group of the activity was held with numerous participants from France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Croatia, Greece, Denmark and Hungary.
At first, I welcomed the participants in the open space asking them to present themselves through personal information and different associations, giving some outline on their intentions as volunteers during the project. We used different icebreakers and interaction strategies for them to get in touch with their intentions and define them more precisely. The next day we had personal one-on-one interactions for them to understand more about their intentions in the horizon of their personal vocation and did different exercises for them to activate their self-image in the course of their intention and the specific cultural environment they are located in.
The participants were able to find more details about themselves as volunteers in the course of the project, as well as human beings with specific skills and knowledge coming from specific cultural backgrounds. In the team of 3 mentors I took part in, I've had the opportunity to discuss the behaviour and feedback of different participants and I know the activities we offered have met their objective.
During the course of the activity, I was helping the team of Green Association with logistics and organization, dealing with the transportation of materials and participants to the Headquarters of the Association in Momin Prohod.
