Aims & objectives

During many projects we experienced as a tool of interaction with locals: open international evenings, info-action giving information about projects as leaflets, making theater scenes, café in the middle of the city. We were having those things more based on intuition less on the proper diagnose of the local community needs.

Aim
To increase the knowledge among youth leaders/workers on the meaning and methodology of the local impact in international projects.

Objectives:
- to acquire awareness on the concept of “local”, “local community”;
- to explore possibilities of International projects for local change;
- to start new projects;
- to learn about methods and tools;
- to get to know new organizations

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Participants:
- youth leaders,
- youth workers,
- coordinators of international projects,

From Ilaty, Poland, Hungary, Turkey, UK, Spain, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany.

Training methods used & main activities

Workshops, flashmobe, open space, group work, presentation, out-door activities IKEBANA, city game.

Outcomes of the activity

Participanst know what are the local community needs, what are the needs of organization, target group. Pax know who to make flashmobe.
