Aims & objectives

The aim of the project was to bring together organisations and groups from Europe in order to enhance their cooperation in the field of gender and give them a platform to develop new projects and ideas within possibilities given under Youth in Action Programme.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The Partnership Building Activity brought together 42 youth workers, experts and youth leaders from organisations based in EU, EECA, EFTA countries and Turkey interested in developing new projects and partnerships on the topic of Gender Equality.

Training methods used & main activities

During 6 working days of PBA study visits were organised to different NGOs working in the respective field. NGO fair was organised where other local NGO-s will had a chance to meet their European partners and develop partnerships. Through workshops and informal networking the emphasis and importance during the PBA was placed on each participant’s own experiences and individual skills.

Outcomes of the activity

Project was a unique opportunity for participants coming from 30 different organisations based in different parts of Europe; Western Europe, Northern Europe, Southern Europe, Eastern Europe and Caucasus to share experiences of past projects on gender and exchange useful information, to acquire knowledge about possibilities of cooperation on gender issues across Europe and to develop new projects within Youth in Action Programme.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was leading the whole project as a full time trainer, facilitator and project manager.

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
