Gender Equality for European Citizens

Aims & objectives

- To give more profound information to participants about gender matters,
- To share different realities regarding the gender related issues of different countries & societies;
- To unite young people with different mental and educational backgrounds for supporting the process of gender equalit;
- To promote respect towards LGBT people (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered people) instead of discrimination and violence;
- Youth – new generation to do their best to build democratic society based on gender and sexual equality.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Participants from: France, Georgia, Germany, Czech republic, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia and Italy.

Training methods used & main activities

The learning methods of project is through non-formal and in-formal education. For to achieve the principal goals of TC we use different activities, such as: group discussion/presentations, interactive workshops, intercultural evenings, public presentations, peaceful demonstration involving local communities and other creative activities.

Outcomes of the activity

This project opened discussion about various aspects of gender in different countries and cultures.
Moreover, by experiencing the basic process learning in an intercultural setting, improved participants awareness towards other cultures and increased their abilities to work
in an international team.
