Aims & objectives

Aims and objectives

The aim of the training course is to facilitate the learning and development of key
competencies/ future working skills in youth work through a 7 day training course to support work
with young people.

The objectives of the project are:
− to gain more knowledge about future skills and key competencies for lifelong learning
− to gain more knowledge about challenges facing future youth
− to promote exchange of good practices between youth workers about helping develop the skills of young job seekers
− to get the theoretical knowledge on how to use games and gamification and how to put it into practice
− to raise the quality of youth work

Austria, Croatia, Italy, Lithuania, Portugal, Slovenia, UK (Wales)

Training methods used & main activities

Open Badges, Game design for groups, experiencing future skills through gamification. All activities based on normal education principals.

Outcomes of the activity

Participants discovered new and interactive ways to develop future skills in their target groups using game design.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Trainer, mainly responsible for game design and overall facilitation of group dynamics.

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
