Aims & objectives

The aim of the project is to deepen the
understanding of democratic fundamentals of the
European Union and develop a learning tools – in
the form of board games to attract youngsters in
our country with the topic of Europe.
The activity provided was aimed to investigate LARP as educative tool within the context of European Union and reflect on the LARP game techniques used.

Objectives are to:
- analyze the LARP example within the paradigm of Gamification of EU institutes,
- introduce gaming into education about EU issues,
- develop the general understanding of educational LARP-scenarios which will be used for the future work of any organizations.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

TG consisted of:
4 ptcpts from Greece
4 ptcpts from Spain
5 ptcpts from Poland
5 ptcpts from Czech

Training methods used & main activities

1) Living-Action Role-Play
2) Group Discussion, personal reflection, Practical individual exercises, small-group reflection.

Outcomes of the activity

Participants investigated LARP as educative tool within the context of European Union and reflected on the LARP game techniques used.
Participants developed the general understanding of educational LARP-scenarios which will be used for the future work of any organizations.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

1) General preparation for the LARP-activity: materials, info-pack, introduction, environment and properties.
2) Prepare the group for LARP-activity: psychological warm-up, rintro and guidance, rules explanation;
3) Facilitation of LARP;
4) Managing the psychological unload and release
5) Facilitating the follow-up debriefing and further discussion;

I worked on this training for 3 days as a full time trainer.
