TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

Aims and needs:
online preparation for volunteering, critical reflection about volunteering e.g. white saviourism, self reflection e.g. on expectations and stereotypes, working abroad, communication and conflicts (in intercultural settings), process orientated intercultural learning, partnership with international partners, etc.
The training fits to the core goals of the organisation as they offer volunteering.
Target group: international group of young Europeans, main group were Germans
Team: international team, including European, Asian and Latin American countries, including videocalls to partners all over the world
energizer, group works, Miro boards, mentimeter surveys, methods similar to SHARMED, etc.
Outcome:
young adults have the first part of their preparation
Measuring success:
collecting feedback during the training and apply it during the training and for the next training, surveys and evaluation after the training

I was part of the permanent staff of the organisation ICJA and functioned as a full-time trainer. I was responsible with my team for content creation before the training and evaluation.
