TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Eelin Hoffström
The aim of the training is to provide the new EVS volunteers information on their rights and responsibilites, the Erasmus+ programme and the big picture of EVS. The volunteers are also given a chance to learn about their host country, their role in their projects and the project in general.
12 volunteers from different European countries.
I was managing some sessions on storytelling as a method for intercultural learning and looking at the different stakeholders in the EVS projects.
We managed as a team to create a close-knit group to continue with their peer-support network even after the training. The volunteers learned about their rights and responsibilities and learnt how to implement their own knowledge in their projects.
My main responsibility was the food logistics. But I was also part of the educational staff doing sessions on volunteering and storytelling.
