Aims & objectives

Aim
- To support EVS volunteers in their involvement in projects.

Objectives:
- To understand what is EVS, roles and responsibilities of different actors within the Youth in Action Programme
- To clarify one´s motivation for EVS as well as motivation of other actors
- To understand concepts of culture, intercultural learning and more specifically Czech culture and Czech language
- To further one´s competences for a long-term involvement in EVS projects

Training methods used & main activities

Presentation, discussions, brainstorming, input, group work, coaching, experiential activities and exercises, energisers, team building activities

Outcomes of the activity

- Individual learning plans of EVS volunteers
- Facebook group
- Presentations of organisations, in which volunteers are involved (in flipchart form)
- Improvement of competences of participants in areas of intercultural learning, understanding of culture, project management, EVS rights and responsibilities, Citizenship, Non-formal education

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

One of the trainers preparing, implementing and evaluating the programme, with specific responsibilities for facilitating and training parts of the programme.

I worked on this training for 4,5 days as a full time trainer.
