Training methods used & main activities

Methods invented and implemented by Sergey Tereshenkov:

I. Presentation of the “Bridge It!” Programme for the General Public (Method invented by ST)

Goal To present the ”Bridge It!” Programme in a creative way to the general public using methods of non-formal education

II. Public Events (First method - workshop - implemented by Alexander Petrov and Elena Razumovskaya)

Goal To present the “Bridge It!” Programme to the general public and to recruit new participants and partners to the Programme for the next year
The first event was the workshop “Non-Formals at the Pskov University”, which was moderated by AP and ER. The second event – the discussion “Cross-Border Co-Operation Estonia-Latvia-Russia: Public Dimension” - was organised at the Pskov Regional Universal Scientific Library. The discussion an actual topic for the region was held moderated by ST

III. Mentoring Coaches

Goal To check the mentor/mentee relation and the general understanding of both roles

IV. Personal Development (Blocks for a Strategy Computer Game)

Goal To evaluate personal development in the course of the Programme year

Outcomes of the activity

Deep reflection on the projects implemented by the participants and the Programme year as a whole

Familiarity with further possibilities in the Programme – mentoring, trainership, grants, alumni work

Deeper discussion on democratic values

Completed presentations of the projects inside the group and to the public

1. Introduction into the preparation of the presentation of the "Bridge It!" Programme
2. Introduction into personal presentation of the projects (in the form of a poster show)
3. Mind map with discussions on various aspects of the projects - PR & communication, budget, partners & fundraising, time management
4. Consultations of the group in anticipation of the Programme presentation to the public
5. Moderation of the discussion "Cross-Border Co-Operation Estonia-Latvia-Russia: Public Dimension"
6. Discussion on teamwork and crisis management
7. Discussion on the metor/mentee relations
8. Further opportunities in the Programme - trainership, mentorship
9. Evaluation of the seminar and the Programme year

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
