Aims & objectives

Main objectives of the training course:
1) To improve the quality of European youth projects, especially in Erasmus+ context, focusing on the 5 key areas: nonformal learning, project management, partnerships, PR and communication (visibility and dissemination of results) and financial planning.
2) To enhance of digital dimension of youth work.
3) To enforce European cooperation in the youth field.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The group consisted of 33 youth workers and leaders coming from 10 countries: Romania, Germany, Moldova, Ukraine, Turkey, Greece, Latvia, Italy, Bulgaria and Armenia.

Training methods used & main activities

All activities of the training course were based on the principles of non-formal education including debates, case study, facilitated discussions, working in small intercultural groups, creative presentations and theoretical inputs.

Outcomes of the activity

The project is still ongoing. The second part of the project will be held in Armenia in September, 2016.

According to the participants' feedback we could find out that they could increase their project management skills, communication in foreign languages, international cooperation, cultural awareness, sence of initiative and entrepreneurship. The participants had personal and professional growth. The were equipped with skills and knowledge on project management and quality in youth projects which they will bring to their organizations and communities.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was involved in preparation and implementation of the educational programme of this project.

I worked on this training for 8 days as a full time trainer.
