Aims & objectives

To strengthen the understanding and knowledge of youth workers about development of European civilization in order to build relevant and innovative educational materials for European education: a set of board games.
Youth workers were representing YNGOs working in the field of European citizenship and will hold follow up activities using the games participants of the Training Course were developing.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

TC was dedicated to youth workers representing YNGOs working on European civil society from Germany, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Latvia and Romania.
The team of trainers were polish-german.

Training methods used & main activities

We were using methods like: group brainstorm, group decision making, drama theater, SWOT workshop, as well as lectures on gaming typology and practice of board games to explore mechanics.

Outcomes of the activity

7 developed concepts for board games on institutional system of the EU, history of culture and art, political systems of EU countries and opportunities of Erasmus+.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

My role was to prepare the training programme in the field of European culture and history, monitor the quality of activities, coordinate evaluation and communication with partners.

I worked on this training for 8 days as a full time trainer.
