The Training Course was one of the activities within the framework of the project - Future Impact Makers. The project focused on supporting youth workers with tools and methods in order for them to be able to help young people with their employment or their plans to be entrepreneurs. During Entrepreneurs, Get Ready! we focused on entrepreneurial skills.
The group consisted of 21 participants and two trainers from 6 countries: Portugal, Italy, Spain, Poland, Greece and Hungary. Participants were youth workers, trainers, educators who were motivated to gain new knowledge on current trends of entrepreneurship, develop their own entrepreneurial skills and learn new methods which they can support young people with who they are working with.
We used a diverse range of non-formal educational methods. One of the main methods was creative recycling, developed by ReCreativity which is a method using waste materials as a tool which participants can turn into new objects while developing various skills. Other non-formal elements included living library, outdoor, world café, simulation, debate and other group and individual activities.
Participants gained new knowledge on the topic of entrepreneurship, they shared best practices with each other, developed their own personal and professional skills, while also learning how to work together. They also got the chance to develop their own educational materials which they can later use with their own target groups.
I was one of the trainers and I participated in the whole process of the project. I supported the project writing with the program schedule, co-designed the schedule and activities, implemented most of the workshops during the trainingcourse. I also supervised the evaluation and reflection processes of participants.
