Empowerment for social inclusion - youth with disabilities on a labor market

Aims & objectives

The project objectives
• To raise competences of youth workers working on engaging youth with disabilities
in labor market, by providing them tools and methods to do so (career consulting and
others)
• To developed their knowledge regarding specific situation of young people with
disabilities in a labor market and thus their special needs
• To give participants broad information about potential opportunities for young
people with disabilities regarding EU programmers and worldwide
• To developed practical Manual that will be used by people working with disability on
vocational activation

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

it involved 34 youth workers coming from 8 different countries: Albania, Cyprus, Macedonia,
Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Spain and Turkey. For 6 days they were working on new
opportunities for youngsters all over Europe!

Training methods used & main activities

NFE metodology and methods such as drama, theater of the opressed for sharing experiecnes on living with disabilitites in a social context, simuations study visist etc.

Apart change in attitude towards people with disabilitites, develped knowledge and skills on woring with this group. We know after evaluation.
