Aims & objectives

To support youth work professionals in developing diversity management competences in their daily practice and how to help young people appreciate diversity and cooperate valuing each others’ differences.
To explore concepts and different forms of diversity and inclusion;
To strengthen and develop youth workers and other professionals 'diversity management’ competences;
To explore the local italian reality of working with diverse groups of young people (Roma, asylum seekers, LGBTQI, etc);
To share different tools, methods and approaches for managing diversity and to reflect on how to adapt to different daily youth work contexts;
To support networking between participants and the development of Erasmus+: Youth in Action project ideas on diversity.

The programme consisted of a mix of interactive methods and presentation, making the best possible use of (y)our expertise and time.

Embracing Diversity Readers 2019, published on Salto youth website

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Trainer member in team with Saro Rossi and Dani Prisacariu. We equally shared the sessions, I focused more on the diversity management frame and its adaptation to local realities and specifities of target group.

I worked on this training for 4 days as a full time trainer.
