Aims & objectives

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE PROJECT LAB
Project Labs in the frame of Europe Goes Local are international training and networking
events that bring together officials and practitioners in youth work to strengthen the usage and
exploitation of the possibilities offered by the ERASMUS+ and the European Solidarity
Corps programmes for youth work at municipal level.
Specifically, the Project Lab aims to ...
• provide information and training on the possibilities of the European mobility
programmes, and how to use them;
• present and curate good practices in using the programmes, with a focus on youth work
at municipal level;
• support partnership-building and networking, with a focus on youth work at
municipal level;
• allow for project development with a focus on the usage of the European mobility
programmes, and provide coaching thereof;
• provide direct contact and support by the network of National Agencies to the
potential project promoters / beneficiaries
In the bigger picture, Project Labs contribute to the promotion of the European mobility
programmes, bring them closer to municipalities, and enhance the impact, recognition and
visibility of youth work at municipal level.

Belgium, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Albania

Training methods used & main activities

we based the methods to following principles: Learned centered
each one has his/her own expectations, motivations, questions
each one has his/her own learning needs and rhythms
Safe learning Space:
we promote this space for sharing and support, during this week we will not have stupid questions all questions are relevant, respect each other's needs, rhythm
We will do our best to accommodate the needs of the group
Inclusive and Human Rights approach:
each individual learner is valued and they are treated with dignity and respect
Cooperative Learning:
Cooperative learning across groups "forces" individuals to develop new connections and find ways to work together
Use the group to enhance learning through working together
Promote learning from others viewpoints
Participatory:
welcome proposals, express needs, open for feedback, we build all together this training.
Holistic approach:
aspects of the learner, including mind, body, and spirit.
holistic learning theory,[is based on the premise that each person finds identity, meaning, and purpose in life through connections to their local community, to the natural world, and to humanitarian values such as compassion and peace.
From action/ transformation:
That means that what we learned here, we use to put in actions and transform ourselves.

Outcomes of the activity

As outcomes of the activity, we got improved understanding of Erasmus+ and ESC programmes. Shared good practices, 5 project plans to be applied. Sense of belonging and need for further cooperation between participants in scope of EGL and local youth work.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was facilitating the process along with my trainer colleague Eliza. Planning the activities, reflection moments and our part of the Inspirational webinar and online Meet & Match session.

I worked on this training for 3 days as a full time trainer.
