EFFY Erasmus + Future Focused Ukraine

Aims & objectives

• to reinforce awareness about European Values and on Erasmus+ Programme; • to ensure a thorough understanding of the Erasmus+ Programme in general and KA1, KA2 Projects and ESC in particular;
• to introduce and explore Youth Projects as a powerful tool to promote Solidarity, and Social Inclusion, Active Participation, Democracy, Tolerance, Peace, Human Rights and to respond to common challenges due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine;
• to explore and understand the different roles within Youth Cooperation Projects and the different phases and dimensions of its planning and implementation;
• to support the development of cooperation under KA1 and KA2 Projects and cooperation for ESC;
• to provide space for sharing realities, to exchange practices, experiences, points of view and ideas for the future;
• to inspire and create spaces for the planning of further Youth Projects and the action plans for the adaptation of current projects;
• to share the key findings of the Strategic Cooperation under Erasmus+ KA1 and KA2;
• to summarize the recommendations and provide space for reflecting on the implications of the key findings on youth work realities in Ukraine.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The Webinar addressed 900 Youth Leaders, Youth workers, Municipal youth workers and Trainers from Erasmus+ Youth Program countries and Ukraine.

Training methods used & main activities

The webinar was delivered through a combination of interactive online sessions, presentations, and group network sessions. Participants had the opportunity to engage with expert trainers and peers and to share their own experiences and insights.

Outcomes of the activity

The webinar increased the knowledge about the Erasmus+ Programme and encouraged participants to use youth projects as a tool to develop, promote and implement projects within their contexts, with a strong focus on solidarity, and social inclusion of young migrants, refugees, temporarily relocated and young people arriving from difficult backgrounds or contexts to new countries and to new local communities.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was in charge of the sessions on:
-networking gathering insights on,
-initiating collaboration in various themes within youth work,
-most significant challenges and concerns faced
by young people today,
-exploring the expectations from the youth programs and identifying the expectations that coincide
-exploring concrete collaboration opportunities through
Erasmus + program

I worked on this training for 2 days as a full time trainer.
