Effective Transmission

Aims & objectives

The aim of the training course is to enable participants to transmit the messages as a lecturer or a speaker effectively by self-mirror to their identities in the social context.
The objectives are:
Define our own identities
Understand our personal needs
See ourselves and understand how the society sees us
Understand differences and similarities among people and the relation of these with cultural background
Recognize the concept of the globalization and popular culture across the world and their effect on our identity
Transmit the messages effectively both in the ordinary situations and the situations with barriers
Exercise how to use the voice, breath, body, gestures, etc. according to the message we will deliver
Have the tips on how to be an efficient lecturer
Evaluate the DON’TS in lecturing
Observe and evaluate good examples in media
Experience the planning of a lecturing
Provide an opportunity to practice some performance skills
Kamu Der is an NGO which was established to provide competences to the people who work for the government. This training course is a great opportunity for them to achieve their institutional aims.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

There were 21 participants from Slovenia, Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine, Romania, Azerbaijan, Belarus and Turkey. Some of the participants were students and some of them were the full time employed people who were all need to have oratorical skills which will help them to impress crowd of people they are going to talk to or their boss, client, teacher, students, mate, etc.

Training methods used & main activities

In this training course, I used oral quiz, pair work, game show, role play, self exercise, lecture, simulation games, and a lot of tongue exercises.

Outcomes of the activity

The participants were provided necessary oratorical skills to talk in front of the people. At the end of the training the participants had chance to speak out their lecture to the other participants to give a try to prepare their own speech with the methods I delivered them. Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was the only trainer in this training course. I designed the activities, sessions, aims and objectives of the whole training course.

I worked on this training for 5 days days as a full time trainer.
