Aims & objectives

"Edugame" was implemented in Saku Noortelaager
(Estonia) from 22nd - 26th March 2023 aimed at youth workers/leaders and educators from Estonia, Poland and Malta.
The aim of the training course was to increase the competences of youth workers and educators to use game-based learning as well as to introduce the created outputs and spread their use.

The main goals of the training activity were:
- to get a deeper understanding of game-based learning;
- to learn how to facilitate and effectively use created games;
- to learn how to create own educational games;
- to be able to transfer the acquired knowledge and skills into the work of organizations/institutions that the participant work in.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

12 youth workers and teachers from Poland, Malta and Estonia.

Training methods used & main activities

Game based learning methods and games created by Learn2Play, non formal education methodolgoies and grouo dynamic exercises.

Outcomes of the activity

During the training activity, participants had a chance to be trained in using game-based learning and creating educational games in their work, as well as be able to facilitate the specific educational games created during "Learn2Play".

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

One of the trainers, in charge of devlivering skills, knowledge and competences related to game based learning, focused on Learn2Play games on soft skills for young people.

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
