Objectives:

1. Raise awareness on environmental challenges among young people
2. Develop participants’ competences in various green sectors
3. Exchange good practices and develop new ideas on how to tackle climate change
4. Improve the mindset of youngsters on environmental issues
5. Promote intercultural exchange and the Erasmus+ programme

Outcomes of the activity

We decided to carry out the project Eco-YOUth to contribute towards the alarming issue of climate change and environmental disasters, a global issue affecting all of us in similar and different ways.

Despite our diverse backgrounds as young citizens of various Mediterranean countries, we share the vision to create a more sustainable future for ourselves, our communities and the generations to follow.

We used this project as an opportunity to enhance the competences of young individuals in green sectors and generally raise their awareness about the importance of environmental sustainability. In this way, we assisted towards creating a positive change in the Mediterranean region.
