Aims & objectives

Camp aims at supporting young people’s involvement in and chance of contribution to the Eastern Partnership program of the European Union.

Objectives:

- Raising awareness of young people on Eastern Partnership program and about the possibilities and necessities of their involvement in the program processes;
- Supporting young people in identifying and solving the problems of their involvement and adopting the strategy of their involvement in the Eastern partnership Program’s different processes;
- Supporting the communication, networking and co-operational partnership between young people from Eastern Partnership Program Beneficiary countries.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Participants of the training camp were 40 young people/youth workers from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, Armenia and Georgia.

Training methods used & main activities

The training camp was organized using non-formal education methods and approaches. Camp structure was divided in 3 main parts: First part – parallel workshops on the values of the Eastern Partnership Program of the European Union; Second part – sharing of experience between participants and supporting the networking work; Third part – cultural-entertaining activities.

We have used interactive, non-formal education methods, such as group work, facilitated discussions, simulations, daily reflection sessions and etc.

Outcomes of the activity

The main outcomes of this camp was strengthened connections and networking between young people/youth workers from Eastern Partnership Programme beneficiary countries. Moreover participants awareness was raised regarding the EU EaP programme and about possibility of their involvement in the implementation processes.

Participants of the camp has developed their competences in Ea programme values: Rule of Law; Good Governance; Respect to Human Rights; Respect to Minority Rights; Market Economics; and sustainable development.

Together with the trainers and facilitators we have planned, implemented and evaluated the activity.

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
