Aims & objectives

The project has a threefold multilevel objective.
1) We want to enhance the in-house capacity of our partners;
2) We want to transform our participants in multipliers able to transmit the acquired skills through creative and innovative actions;
3) We want to enhance our newly born transnational peacebuilding platform expanding it in its potential and its contents.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

the composition of the countries is as follows: Germany, Denmark, Russian Federation, Poland, Georgia, Ukraine, Armenia.
42 Participants

The target group are youth between 18 - 30 Years old who have an interest in peace building and conflict management topics. Some of the participants are from a fewer opportunities background such as geographical and or social obstacles.

Training methods used & main activities

The training will be conducted with non-formal educational activities.
We will give presentations to deal with the more complicated and theoretical concepts while
also setting up games to experience peacebuilding related aspects first-hand.
Upon taking part in our peacebuilding training, the participants will enter our peacebuilding community. This will contribute to a network capable of sharing experiences and best practices on peacebuilding realities all around the world.
The Participants will have the possibility to develop practical knowledge of peacebuilding coming from field experience a deep theoretical knowledge of the topic.
The topics of the training will include (but not be limited to) training conflict analysis, conflict resolution, the NGO role in peacebuilding activities, negotiation and mediation etc.
During the week the participants will enjoy a series of social events that will help them build up relations and professional networks.

Outcomes of the activity

1) Learn about the general development and evolution of a conflict
2) Learn how to deal with conflict situation
3) learn to use negotiation and mediation tools
4) learn how to devise problem-solving strategies
5) learn the importance of intercultural communication and diversity

In addition, some set of skills:
1) the possibility to conduct actively peace-related workshops in the form of a role game;
2) The application for organization skills and communicational skills in dealing with their tasks as
group leaders.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

\training the participants working on policies between countries, Debating and different methods for debating and how to present your idea, conflict management and speaking for inclusion especially that the project included partner countries with diverse group.

I worked on this training for 6 days as a full time trainer.
