Aims & objectives

The major aim of this training course was to support youth/social workers to develop their competences in empowering young people with fewer opportunities to become aware of, and act on, their dreams and visions of their own futures.

During this training course, participants are encouraged to

1. explore creative tools, methods and attitudes they can develop to create a safe learning environment where young people can be aware about their strengths and develop self confidence
2. support young people to reconnect with their own dreams and passions and step out of their comfort zones
3. develop their competence to guide, coach and accompany young people in their learning processes
4. meet with their counterparts from other countries to develop and share best practices, tools and methods
5. get to know more about how to use Erasmus+ Programme to meet the needs of young people with fewer opportunities.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Target group: The TC is open to participants coming from various fields working with young people from diverse backgrounds - especially those who are NEET – who want to be better equipped to empower young people to access services, employment and mobility opportunities.

There were 24 participants involved to training course from 16 countries.

Training methods used & main activities

In the frame of non-formal learning, team of trainers used, offline/online presentations, simulation, role-play, team work, individual work as the main methods of the training course.

Outcomes of the activity

According to verbal evaluation and written evaluation of training course we were able to reach training objectives. Participants gave feedback on they felt the learning process and training encouraged them to work with NEET.

As the training programme successfully implemented and we received good feedbacks from participants we can say that training was successful.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

As a trainer in this training course I was assigned to team building and establishing safe environment which is needed for learning on first two days of training course. For the third and fourth days I was responsible for group dynamics and helping participants to feel ready to learn just the sessions starts. During last day, I facilitated the creating cooperation session, youthpass & competences session and evaluation session.

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
