TOY - Trainers Online for Youth
This is a reference for Lukas Zajicek
This project was written as a collaboration of Genesis and ICPI. Project focus was on connection of personal development and nature. Project had 2 stages, the first stage was more focused on personal development and the second stage was focused on nature. As need we recognise the lack of connection to nature and ourselves which lead us to write this project to help people to reconnect. Whole partnership for this project was established and based on mutual understanding and desire to support this area.
Target group: Youngsters, youth workers and people interested in nature and personal development 18+.
Countries: Georgia, Latvia, Romania, Spain, Portugal, Czechia.
Team: Lukáš Zajíček (CZ) trainer, Aneta Bednářová (CZ) trainer
Linda Phanová (CZ) Coordinator, Ani Kokhtashvili (Georgia) coordinator
For this project were used non-formal education techniques supporting personal growth, plus basic intro into hiking and how to survive in nature.
For whole period we supported use of "soulmate" as a technique how to create bond and safe space. Another thing we used was exercise were we made them focus on things that define them in life and answer why. We aimed on their deeper understanding who they are.
Outcomes of the activity was better understanding and understanding to our connection to nature and how can we use it in positive way to our benefit. Also practical things what things to bring on hike, how to pack and how to build shelter. Activity was successful based on feedback we were getting during and formal evaluation after activity.
