Aims & objectives

The aim of the seminar is to establish a close international cooperation between programme and partner countries in the field of democracy and structural dialogue. Participants will share experience connected to creating youth policy on national and international level and how to cooperate between youngsters and politics, experts and people responsible for youth policy. The aim of the seminar is to understand the idea of structural dialog, create new international partnerships and prepare new, good quality projects on non-formal education level.


Objectives of the seminar:

• to create opportunities for starting long-term international cooperation between programme and partner countries on democracy and structural dialogue;
• contribute to development of the quality of projects;
• to rise the knowledge about guidelines and rules of Key Action 3;
• to provide information about planning the implementation of Youth policy projects;
• to create space for building international partnership and planning future projects;
• to create space for sharing knowledge and exchanging experiences and good practice.
• to learn new approaches,
• to show new possibilities under Erasmus+ to develop intercultural competences on youth policy field.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The composition of the trainers team:

Target group of the seminar:

• participants form programme and partner countries;
• youth after 18 years old;
• youth workers/leaders;
• project coordinators.

There were 19 participants from 11 countires.

Training methods used & main activities

- networking evening
- sharing realities of youth policies among the participants
- walk&talk debate

Outcomes of the activity

The projects ideas developed by participants :

1. A Training for young people on how to influence local youth policy - This project aims to train youngsters in techniques to self-organise, present ideas and meet with politicians;

2. A Youth Exchange on Intercultural Learning - This project aims to bring together young people to celebrate their traditions during a Cultural Festval;

3. A Seminar about local youth iniciatives - This project aims to organise, in diferent countries, local meetings with young people in order to support them on their iniciatives, meet with local politicians and start youth-driven projects. Afterwards the group plans to organise an international Seminar to exchange their experiences, to share good practices and to reinforce the importance of eachothers' active participation in their local communities.

4. A Seminar with politicians and Young People from urban areas - This project aims to bring together Politicians and Young people to discuss Youth Policy and new ways of developing participatory policy making

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was responsible for co-creation of the whole educational process that took place during this CMS. Together with the team we came up with the aims&objectives of the CMS, programme flow and we chosed the appropriate methods. Also the report was prepared by the whole team, including myself.

I worked on this training for 4 days as a full time trainer.
