Aims & objectives

The main aim of Cultural Everest TC was to strengthen the intercultural learning aspect in Youth in action projects.

Objectives (participants after the training course):
- understand the complexity of culture and the concept of intercultural learning,
- know the basics of Youth in action programme and youth projects management,
- are able to implement intercultural learning into their realistic project ideas.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The event was organized by the Czech NA. There were participants from the EU and from the partner regions - EECA, SEE, Euromed. The main focus was on using the richness of the group for explaining and understanding the main principles of intercultural learning in YiA projects.

Training methods used & main activities

We worked a lot outside, did some simulations and used a lot of creative techniques. Space was given for drafts of project ideas and for consultation.

Honza Latal was a trainer together with two colleagues.

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
