Aims & objectives

Training course by name “CREATIVE YOUTH SELF ENTREPRENEURS” has implemented in Novi Sad, Serbia from 12th – 20th of February 2016.

The main idea of the project "Creative youth self-employment" is about how to use multimedia art to analyse current issue of youth unemployment and making new ideas and solutions for work on improving employment.

“CREATIVE YOUTH SELF ENTREPRENEURS” is long term of Erasmus+ KA2 Capacity Building in the field of youth project that will be realized in three stages starting with:
- Partnership Building Activity (PBA – Activity 1) held in Sarajevo, Bosnia & Herzegovina (30th October – 6th of November 2015)
- Training Course (TC – Activity 2) held in Novi Sad, Serbia (12th – 20th February 2016)
- Evaluation Meeting (EM – Activity 3) will be held in Romania (June/July 2016)

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Target group on our training course were people actively involved in work with unemployed young people (youth workers, youth leaders, play workers, NGO activists, school teachers, social workers, volunteers).

In all the three activities our partner organization are coming from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, Bulgaria and Croatia.
The working language of this long term Erasmus + Programme project is English.

Training methods used & main activities

The working methods used on this training course were non-formal education and informal way of learning. This included: games, energizers, ice-breakers, team building exercises, individual and group outdoor educational activities, work on practical examples in a small groups, simulations, thematic workshops, discussions, debates, presentations...

Activities on our training course were: presentation of Erasmus+ Programme and informing long term unemployed youth about new possibilities, non-formal education and informal way of learning, ice-breakers, team building exercises, individual and group activities, work on practical examples in a small groups, discussions, debates, presentations, project proposal witting, thematic multi media workshops, making creative actions, creative initiatives, creative energizers, creating video, photos, work on individual and group activities.

Outcomes of the activity

The main idea of the project "Creative youth self-employment" is about how to use multimedia art to analyse current issue of youth unemployment and making new ideas and solutions for work on improving employment.

Also by promotion youth participation and creative activities, as a result of our TC participants will use those learning methods in everyday work for their empowering and their youth employment.

Idea was to show that there is possibility to solve certain problem of a long term unemployed youth, by using creative opportunities and innovative methods (in multi media art) of non formal learning and working on their empowering skills and knowledge. These creative methods can lead to solution or point out a problem that can be resolved by working on it afterwards.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

In this training course I worked as a trainer with my colleague Boris Radivojkov – expert for art photography and educator (www.borisradivojkov.com)

In total two trainers from Serbia delivered program activities using an interactive and participatory approach method.

Non-formal and informal methods were applied for this training course, which are designed to improve range of skills and competences, outside formal education of the participants. The activities were designed on David Kolb’s. Activities were separated in morning, afternoon sessions, finishing with reflection groups for the day.
