TOY - Trainers Online for Youth

General aim of the project was to enhance the competences of youth workers/leaders to use creativity methods in working with young people with fewer opportunities to be active members of their local communities.
Objectives of the project:
- Raising awareness for social inclusion and its benefits for young people with fewer opportunities on personal, organizational and local community level.
- Learning specific targeted creative methods (drama exercises, storytelling and game design) in applying them as flexible and inclusive creative methodologies in the context of addressing mapped issues of young people with fewer opportunities and to raise skills for quality and creative approaches in youth work practice.
- Develop critical thinking for questioning personal values and beliefs towards the status of young people with fewer opportunities in EU and non-EU countries, through game design.
- Dissemination of the products (at least one game and 3 stories in digital format) and sharing a variety of non-formal learning techniques useful for enhancing employability skills and working with young people from all backgrounds.
-Informing participants about the EU Programme Erasmus+ and its opportunities with promotion of EU values and values of youth work (presenting Erasmus+ mobile app and all relevant links).
- Testing new innovative skills and methods in the context of European youth work (innovation lab) and giving useful techniques for practical work in the field of new world challenges (environmental issues, war crisis in Ukraine).
Creative Box - training course for youth workers in using inclusive creative methodologies for working with young people with fewer opportunities is project co-funded by Erasmus+ programme of EU and main activity was held from 22nd until 30th of January 2024 with 22 participants from 7 countries (Germany, Croatia, North Macedonia, Greece, Serbia, Bulgaria and Turkey).
Methods were based on non-formal education, storytelling, process drama and inclusive board game design.
