''CreationShip - Creative Entrepreneurship''

Aims & objectives

The training programme "CreationShip" was designed to give young people and third sector organizations competencies that are neccessary to initiate their own creative enterprises, as well as to develop creative thinking abilities of the participants.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Training course involved 30 participants from Algeria, Azerbaijan, Croatia, Egypt, Germania, Georgia, Greece, Latvia, Moldova, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine.

Training methods used & main activities

Creative thinking techniques, improvisation theatre, group work and discussions, storytelling, reflection, simulations.

Outcomes of the activity

Participants learnt to use various brainstorming and creative problem solving techniques, as well as elaborated suggestions how to use these tools in work with groups for solving social and environmental issues.

Participants developed their sense of initiative and entrepreneurship and gained competencies that are important for starting their own creative enterprises.

International support network was established as a source to generate and develop further business and community projects' ideas within creative industries.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

Facilitating sessions about creativity and entrepreneurship in cooperation with two other trainers, planning and evaluating program on a daily basis.

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
