Contact Making Event "Start a Change with Youth Exchange"

Aims & objectives

This project is to make it easier for young youth leaders to understand the process of developing and implementing international youth exchanges and thus strengthening international capacities of involved organizations. Through learning environment, we promote good partnerships in youth exchange projects – centered around mutual trust and cooperation. And “virtual mobility” activities make the results have the long-lasting effect.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Target group: 25 youth workers and group leaders willing to develop projects in the future (from 10 different Programme countries)

Team of facilitators: Ieva Grundsteine (Latvia) and Antonio Benaches (Spain)

Training methods used & main activities

Different active methods like experiential learning and small working groups with mentoring phases.

Outcomes of the activity

7 possible future projects have been developed during the activity, ranging topics like "media and critical thingking", "personal development", "entrepreneurship", "outdoor sports" and "fighting racism"
