• Build awareness in young Europeans of the issues of climate change
• Use German case studies of climate impacts as a focus to examine how Europe is being affecting by climate change and global interdependence.
• Understanding of the topic through several approaches (rural vs urban, local vs European etc).
• Increase youth initiative applications linking democratic processes through lobbying policy makers
• Provide support networks between young people interested in priority topic
21 young people from 15 European countries. Training team consisted of support staff from British Council, experts from UNEP/GRID, local scientists, English farmer and youth trainer.
Field visits, interactive lectures and workshops, simulation of Wadden sea climate challenges, group sessions for collaboration, project development and learning facilitation.
