City Bound Leadership Training - Advanced

Aims & objectives

The main aim of the programme was to develop leadership and coordination skills among youth leaders working on implementing City Bound youth exchanges in various cities of the European Union. We focused on flexibility and creative problem solving, as well as facilitation individual and group learning processes.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The target was youth leaders from City Bound partner organizations (8 countries), experienced already in facilitating youth exchanges. Trainers team consisted of me and Nikola Vorackova (CZ).

Training methods used & main activities

Training methods varied from group and individual problem solving work, individual reflection, simulation/forum theaters, role plays and work of participants as a facilitators. Learning sessions consisted of practical part, test and feed-back referring to theories and basic rules.

Outcomes of the activity

Extended toolbox of activities for City Bound youth exchanges filled with adventure based learning advanced methods to be used by youth leaders.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was a leading trainer, co-trainer with Nikola Vorackova.

I worked on this training for 7 days as a full time trainer.
