Aims & objectives

The general topic of our project was the struggle against the daily discrimination and segregation against the participants and the fight for equal opportunities. Our main task was to find novel individual and community solutions focusing on the participants opinion and experience, too, so that they can help the youngsters integrate into the society harmoniously despite their multiply disadvantageous situation (living at children’s homes, belonging to the Roma ethnicity and/or being a woman) and use the democratic institutions available to them.
During the training, the questions and problems raised by the participants have covered three large topics:
1. Gender equalities
2. Equal opportunities for Roma people, for members of an ethnical minority
3. Equal opportunities for European citizens

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The participants ware youth workers from Hungary, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraina

Training methods used & main activities

During the training the participants processed the topics in the form of dialogues, roll play, improvisation theater, creative workshops, joint evaluations, group activities, outdoor activities, discussions and debates, structured exercises and mini projects so that they could exchange experience, opinions and learn as much as possible by experiencing.

Outcomes of the activity

The training achieved to fully cover the expectations both, the organizers and participants.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

I was the only trainer and I carried all the activities during the project.

I worked on this training for 10 days as a full time trainer.
