Camp Leader Training

Aims & objectives

The 2026 camp leader training aimed for the youth workers to
- feel more confident to be a camp leader this summer in the Netherlands,
- develop personally and professionally,
- gain practical tools that you can directly use in your camp,
- gain intercultural/non-violent communication, leadership, flexibility, problem solving and volunteer empowerment skills.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The camp leader training was required for anyone that would lead a work camp in the Netherlands this summer. Furthermore, they were:
- Based in an EU Programme Country.
- Minimally 18 years old by 3 June.
- Able to speak sufficient English to be able to express yourself during the training and the work camp.
- Looking forward to a fun training with an international group as well as a great experience during the work camp this summer in the Netherlands.

I worked on this training for 4 days days as a full time trainer.
