The objectives of the project:
1. To develop the necessary competences (including
knowledge, skills and attitudes) of active youth or
youth leaders in facilitation, leadership and management of European youth work projects, notably in the context of future co-operation within the Erasmus Plus Programme;
2. To raise the quality of Erasmus Plus youth work
projects through better focus on the programmes’
important features such as European dimension, active participation, non-formal education, dissemination of results etc.;
3. To share experience and good practice between
partner organizations in the field of European youth
work, notably facilitation, leadership and management;
4. To explore the practice of Lithuanian youth work
organizations and the realities of young people in
Lithuania;
5. To enhance co-operation between partners and
to develop future projects and programmes for 2022.
We involved in the project 30 youngsters from
rural areas to learn about tacking intercultural learning, tolerance, solidarity and human rights through facilitation. In total, there were 30 participants (18 - 30 years old) from: Lithuania, Netherlands, Portugal, Denmark, Italy and Sweden.
All activities were based on basic principles of non-formal learning.
- Activities took place in a diverse range of environments and situations that are best for learning and exchanging the ideas.
- All participants were actively involved in preparing and delivering educational content.
- All learning activities addressed the main themes of the youth exchange which are: intercultural dialogue, tolerance, solidarity and human rights.
