Training No. 2021-2-FR02-KA153-YOU-000040391, on the gender issue in Europe, through two training courses in Italy and France:
1-Visual communication and gender issue.
2-sexual orientation.
The training dealt with gender issues and discrimination of sexual orientation, development of critical thinking and proposals for the dissemination of the theme.
The participants involved came from Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Estonia, many belonging to the Lgbtqia+ community or interested in the theme, the team composed of two French trainers and I from Italy.
In both training we carried out an analysis of the needs of the participants, through activities and debriefing were facilitated the comparison and the exchange of experiences. The calendar was built in detail together with the group, at each end of the project the group of participants could have a direct experience with the production of graphics. in the first we used the cartoon form with murals that have created a path to the country involved to sensitize the locals. in the second through the graphic Facilitation we structured a final event managed in theatrical form. Each activity was followed by a moment of reflection on what was learned.
We have allowed a diverse group with different experiences and knowledge as well as different points of view to discuss and deepen the theme, and then propose in turn workshops, or activities dedicated to the topic for senior participants.
Damien the dissemination trainer created a shared drive for everyone, through Concordia france promoted the results, in Italy in particular the comics and murals after the cultural event were made available to the local middle school.
Being part of the team in both projects, in the first I took care of the internal training regarding self-expression through drawing, the approach to communication towards external categories and not very sensitive to the subject.
in the second I worked in the construction of a direct and assertive graphic communication through artistic and technical activities. support to logistics and team building.
