BREAKING TABOOS " INTERNATIONAL TRAINING COURSE ON INTERCULTURAL DIALOGUE"

Aims & objectives

We noticed that something unknown still fears people, and fear leads to impatience and intolerance. There is no place for feelings like that in fast growing
society. That is one of the reasons why we want to break any kind of taboos and in order to do that, we want to educate people so they can overcome those
fears.

Training methods used & main activities

Through workshops, group work and direct contact with representatives of society groups, who are still neglected in most of societies, because of
their culture, race, beliefs, religions…etc.
 Learning through personal experience and non-formal education methods.
at TC we divided it for two parts in first part participants will get theoretical impute about Islamic and Roman culture about disabled people and
about people with different sexual orientation. Second part we will offer to participants experiential learning through which they will learn how to handle
with impatience, how to raise tolerance, how to break taboos and we will give them tools for transferring those knowledge on other young people

Outcomes of the activity

i created some tools about prejudges and discrimination
we had 24 participants from different countries more aware about taboos as concepts and behavior
created new networks between partners

i assist in preparing daily program and leaded sessions during all training days

I worked on this training for 6 days days as a full time trainer.
