Aims & objectives

These short term training courses are based around a simulation exercise which aims to train youth workers in organising youth exchanges within European Union Programmes for youth.
A strong focus on preparation, follow-up, project management, partnerships and especially the active participation of the young people involved. These trainings target new users of these programmes and offers them an introduction and practical information to be able to implement themselves such international project afterwards.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Participants come from different countries, composing an international group which creates the right setting as a reference during the training itself. Up to 30 participants per training course.

Training methods used & main activities

All methods used frame within non formal education.

Outcomes of the activity

An average of 2 to 3 BTM (Mobility of young people) and 1 to 2 TICTAC (Mobility of youth workers) trainings each year.

Your tasks and responsibilities within the team

These trainings are run by an international pool of 6 trainers. My tasks for each BTM varies between (contact)trainer and (report)trainer.

I worked on this training for 5 (each training) days as a full time trainer.
