This is a reference for Barbara Foldi
The aim was to learn and practice the entrepreneurial skill set in order to find an inspiring activity that makes income.
Further on to develop the competences of ’creativity and entrepreneurship’ through a new method called; creative recycling and new means of self-expression.
Also to promote sustainability in venture creation- and management, in lifelong learning and in environmental aspects between youth workers.
Last but not least to promote innovation in youth work by implementing the method of creative recycling in entrepreneurial education.
18+ youth workers, peer educators, mentors and trainers.
Number of participants: 25 people all together, with 3 participants from each of the partner organizations from 7 different countries. (Macedonia, Slovakia, Hungary, Portugal, Greece, Latvia and Estonia).
On the training course we used non formal educational methods. One of them was the experimental learning. Further on we have a method called: creative recycling, where we use the process of creation in order to develop soft skills participants.
One of them was the 'Be a Designer' process when participants became product developers and they had the chance to work in smaller groups on a common idea. They created a 'shity prototype' from up cycled materials and created plans, marketing plan, product photo, slogen, etc.
The main outcome of the training course that participants got many useful tools what they can use when they want to set up in the future a social enterprise or they want to start up on their idea.
Further on we had an open event in Bratislava, at LEAF Academy (boarding school) where participants had the opportunity to pitch their idea and share their values and knowledge with others.
There will be a video about the project, the consul of Greek and Hellenic Republic came to the event and participants are creating new ventures and start to realize their own ideas.
As a head trainer of the program I was responsible of the content. I delivered the program and set the activities. I had a team who supported me and the program and participants as well. I was doing briefings for my team and gave instructions about the reflection groups as well.
