Aims & objectives

The most important objectives of the project were:
- To promote cooperation and tolerance between youth workers
- To empower youth workers to solve discrimination problem with creative tools
- To enhance the knowledge of methods to fight racism and radicalization in the involved countries
- Increase knowledge and competences related to human rights education
- To raise the capacities of partner organizations in youth work
- To promote the Erasmus+ Programme and its opportunities

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

he Training course included the participation of 27 youth workers from the following Countries: Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Italy, North Macedonia, Sweden, Turkey.

Training methods used & main activities

The training combined different kinds of non-formal learning modules, based on introductory lessons, games and group works, professional lectures and public dissemination events, including a living library event that took place during the mobility.

Outcomes of the activity

Thanks to the activities carried out throughout the project, participants had the opportunity to improve their key competences, as defined in the Youthpass and specific in relation to the topics of the Training.
In particular, the involved participants and NGOs developed broader perspectives and competences to implement new activities related to topics of social inclusion and integration of migrants and refugees, diversity, intercultural dialogue and in general about the protection of human rights, also getting more familiar with the living library methodology that was implemented during the Training and that can be further implemented and replicated in participating Countries' realities.
Outcome were also related to promotion of active citizenship, social inclusion and solidarity, as well as democratic values, social cohesion and intercultural dialogue
The Training was awarded as best practice project for implementation by Greek National Agency
