Aims & objectives

The main objective of YWCA-Beirut’s project was to strengthen freedom of expression and dissemination of the culture of inter-community dialogue among young women and youth. The awareness and capacities of 20 youth leaders from the Euro Med region (Italy, Hungary, Egypt, Lebanon) in what relates to Gender Equality and Freedom of Expression was enhanced

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

20 young women from Hungary, Egypt, Italy and Lebanon took part in the training.

The training used Non Formal methods and tools which included:

Interaction between Participants

Outcomes of the activity

1. Creation of tools that were uploaded on Salto website
2. Creation of future potential projects
3. Awareness as to new Erasmus Plus program
4. In Depth knowledge as to Gender Equality and Freedom of Expression

1. Application writing and budget Development
2. Training program design
3. Trainer during the project working in collaboration with other trainers from Egypt and Hungary

I worked on this training for 5 days as a full time trainer.
