Aims & objectives

The Baltic Youth Exchange 2016 - Quo vadis Europe? brought together young people from 9 countries around the Baltic Sea.
Participants dealt with the current challenges Europe is facing. These include educational issues, the debt and economical crisis, the refugee situation and again upcoming nationalism. They worked out the situation in the participating countries and discussed where Europe is heading. It is also a great opportunity to meet people from other countries and cultures. There were country evenings and a lot of other activities to give the participants a chance to get to know each other.

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

The group consisted of 46 members. Each group had a group leader, who were involved in the designing and the implementation of the program.

Outcomes of the activity

Participants got a wider perspecitve of the current situation in Europe and got to know different ideas and opinions.
