different opportunities of Erasmus+ program) - Improving knowledge about peer to peer education,
and enabling organizations to use it in follow up activities back in their local communities (preparing

Target group & international/intercultural composition of the group & team

Project involved 26 participants from 6 countries: Estonia, Slovenia, FYR of Macedonia, Croatia, Lithuania and Latvia. All participants were experienced youth workers.

Training methods used & main activities

Methods that were used for the training course involved set of different participatory and
inclusive methods. Aim of this project was not to give lectures to the involved participants, but to have them “learn by doing”. This was achieved by
using different sets of simulation games and activities. Next methods were used: introductory games, work in groups and as pairs for discussing
session's topic, lectures and theoretical introductions to topics of sessions ,group activities and simulations, theoretical inputs with work in groups on given tasks, work in groups with given tasks, presentation and group activity / simulation, group work in national groups.

Outcomes of the activity

Project participants are able to extend learning of youth, with who they are working in their local communities, according to eight key competences and Youthpass as tool of life-long learning recognition (they were presented and introduced with Youthpass and its all eight key competences, they learned what are the main characteristics of each of them, and how to include it in their everyday work with young people in their organisations). Participants are able to recall on non-formal learning methods and tools in their everyday youth work in their organisations ( they are able to use non-formal learning methods and approaches which they gained during the training, that will be usable to improve their future work with youngsters and to help them in making more interesting and effective workshops by combining peer to peer methodology of work and theatre techniques). Youth workers are able to
develop activities and projects for their target groups in local communities by using different
approaches in work with youth, and combination of education and theatre techniques ( they learned
how to use non-formal learning methods combined with theater methods to attract as bigger as
possible number of young people, and to attract them to topics in which organizations is already
active). Youth workers are able to develop new smaller scale educational activities to share
gained knowledge and skills with their colleague in organisation and / or on local community level.
