The training aimed to strengthen understanding of AI ethics, AI literacy and responsible judicial communication in the context of rapid digital transformation and emerging technologies. The activity addressed the growing need for judicial institutions and legal professionals to better understand the societal, ethical and communication implications of artificial intelligence, disinformation and digital platforms. The training supported DCAF’s broader objectives related to democratic governance, institutional resilience, transparency and responsible use of technology within public institutions.
The training gathered participants and experts working in the fields of justice, governance, digital transformation and public communication, including representatives from public institutions, legal and judicial sectors, civil society and international organisations. The activity involved participants and experts from different European and international backgrounds, contributing to intercultural exchange, peer learning and discussions on common governance and digital transformation challenges.
he training was based on non-formal learning methodologies combining interactive presentations, facilitated discussions, practical case studies, group work, simulations and peer-learning exercises. Participants worked on practical examples related to AI ethics, judicial communication, disinformation and digital governance. The activity also included participatory reflection sessions, collaborative problem-solving exercises and scenario-based discussions encouraging active involvement and exchange of experiences among participants.
The training strengthened participants’ understanding of AI-related risks, ethical standards and communication challenges within judicial and public-sector contexts. Participants improved their awareness of responsible communication practices, digital resilience and citizen-centred approaches to institutional communication in the age of AI. The activity contributed to increased dialogue on AI governance and institutional preparedness, while feedback from participants highlighted the practical relevance and applicability of the training content and methodologies.
Worked as a full-time trainer responsible for the design, delivery and reporting of training sessions related to AI ethics, AI literacy, digital transformation and judicial communication. Contributed to the development of the training concept, agenda and learning methodologies, while facilitating interactive discussions, practical exercises and participant engagement throughout the activity. Supported knowledge exchange and peer-learning processes by connecting policy, communication and digital governance perspectives with practical institutional challenges.
